Maximising Individual Contribution

We work at helping our Clients develop people to achieve the consistently high levels of performance associated with effective work teams. Our approach is first to develop association, leading later to interest, building involvement in all aspects of the manufacturing process. The more people can be involved, the more ownership the workforce feels and the more productive the enterprise becomes. 

High levels of absenteeism, Low job satisfaction, boredom, repetitive work, time wasting and poor attention to health and safety and working environments are the enemies of effective production. Increasing individual contribution by developing interest in the work, introducing variety, and planning activity for slack time can all help to combat these.

1. Competency profiling. Identifying the skills, attributes and knowledge base in the organisations teams and leadership that define the operational, tactical and strategic capability to develop key business goals, translate them into tactical plans and to drive them through to gain the operational improvements that lead to the realisation of the strategic goals.

2. Leadership. Developing a strong, resolute and purposeful leadership team, based on fact. We encourage managers at all levels, through the use of world class tools and techniques too understand in detail all aspects of their situation, plan and take action that moves the business toward it’s goals.

3. Structured managing processes. By introducing a system of stacked managing processes that connect the business goals to its capability to deliver them, we eliminate the drift that normally occurs between strategic intent and operational capability. Our structured managing processes use the concept of a funnel, directing energy from all parts and levels of the business toward improving every aspect of the manufacturing process, second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, shift by shift, day by day, week by week, month by month.

4. Developing people. We believe that the development of people is key to the realisation of any enterprise and within that, the pursuit of standards of excellence. Developing, setting and managing variance to standards forms the center of our people related activity.
